BIDS First Annual Leadership Conference

For the first time in recent memory, on May 9th and 10th, BIDS chiefs and deputies all came together in Lawrence, Kansas, for training on and discussions about challenges facing our public defense leaders. Former Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius delivered opening remarks, and both national and local speakers filled in the two-day conference with training on team-building, well-being, giving good feedback, and more! (And a big thanks to the Kansas Bar Association for lunch!)
