The Salina Regional Public Defender Office is sad to announce that, after 39 years of practicing law, Mark Dinkel, Chief of the Salina Regional Public Defender Office, will be retiring at the end of June. Mark has proudly served most of those 39 years in the Salina Regional Public Defender Office.

Anyone who has met Mark knows instantly that he has a relentless passion and tenacious dedication in defending our clients. Through his Herculean efforts over the years, Mark has demonstrated that lawyers are the cornerstone of the criminal justice system and without the public defender system our clients and society would suffer tremendously.

Mark’s rearview mirror is certain to reflect plenty of “warrior” memories. We wish him the best in his retirement!
