Congratulations Erin Nisly, New Attorney and Future Public Defender

Erin Nisly (center in the tie) is welcomed by the Reno County Public Defender Office.

by Jason Smartt, Reno County Lead Assistant Public Defender

After receiving her successful bar results, Erin Nisly was recently sworn in as a new attorney by Reno County District Court Judge Trish Rose.

Erin will start her career as a public defender in Hutchinson in January 2023, and Chief Public Defender Sarah Sweet-McKinnon is excited to have such a fantastic new attorney joining her office.

In addition to Erin’s parents and family, Sarah and almost her entire team attended Erin’s swearing-in ceremony.

Congratulations, Erin, and congrats to the entire Reno County Public Defender Office!
