Chief Cole Hawver Wins “Clarence Darrow” Award

Cole Hawver, Chief Public Defender of the North Central Regional Office in Junction City, recently won the Kansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers’ “Clarence Darrow” Award. The award is given at KACDL’s annual spring conference, and recognizes outstanding performance by a criminal defense attorney in the year prior. Cole was recognized for his commendable work zealously defending clients and leading a busy office that covers a wide geographical area.

Cole is always a zealous client advocate and a thoughtful litigator, and we are so grateful to have him leading the way as our Chief Public Defender in the North Central Regional Public Defender Office,” Heather Cessna, BIDS Executive Director, said. “Congratulations, Cole, on this well-deserved honor!”
