BIDS Second Annual Leadership Conference

BIDS leaders enjoyed meeting for dinner after the first day of the conference.

by Meryl Carver-Allmond, BIDS Training Director

For the second year in a row, chiefs and deputies joined the BIDS Administrative Office in Lawrence in early May for our annual Leadership Conference. Kansas Supreme Court Chief Justice Marla Luckert delivered opening remarks, which were followed by two days of training on the future of BIDS onboarding and new attorney training, office best practices, human resources, employee well-being, and more. (And a big thanks to the Kansas Bar Association for, once again, sponsoring lunch!)

Here are a few more photos of the event.

BIDS Assistant Training Director, Christina Kerls, talks about the new New Attorney Training program to be rolled out this fall.

Leaders from several different offices stepped outside to enjoy the beautiful weather as they shared lunch.
